AgCountry Farm Credit Services is committed to supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals and is excited to see the positive impact these students will have on the future of agriculture. One way we support the future of agriculture is through the awarding 50 scholarships to graduating high school seniors across its service territory. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their college education starting in the fall of 2025.
The scholarship program is intended for students who either come from actively farming or ranching families or plan to pursue careers in agriculture. This includes fields such as agricultural extension, agricultural education, soil conservation, farm and ranch management, agricultural finance, veterinary medicine, and agribusiness. Additionally, applicants had to be residents of counties served by AgCountry in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Selection criteria for the scholarships included academic aptitude, vocational promise, personal attributes, leadership qualities, and financial need.
